About

Built here, for how
this city trains.

Cape Town moves outdoors, early, and across half a dozen disciplines. hoppir is the pass that finally fits that.

Most people here don’t train one way. They do reformer one week, a rooftop flow the next, and a sauna round when their legs have had enough.

But the way you pay for it hasn’t caught up. You end up with a membership you use twice a month, three studio apps, four cards on file, and a nagging sense you’re paying for something you’re not using. Meanwhile the studios have empty seats in classes that are already running.

hoppir is one membership for the lot, or none at all, if you’d rather just pay for the class in front of you. Unused credits roll over for a month, so there’s no month-end panic and no quiet forfeiture. Studios decide how many seats to release and keep everything else exactly as it is.

We started deliberately narrow, because a marketplace that’s thin everywhere is useless to everyone. Every studio on hoppir is one we have been to and signed on ourselves, and the map in the app is always the live list. And we built for visitors from day one, because a week in Cape Town shouldn’t mean emailing six studios about drop-in rates.

What we hold to

Four things we won’t trade away.

Say the awkward part first

We put the awkward part on the card, not in a receipt afterwards. Your credits roll over for one month, your balance tops out at two months' worth, and the oldest are spent first. All of that before you pay, not after. If a class costs 24 credits, that's on the class. The moment a marketplace starts hiding numbers, it stops being worth trusting.

A seat means a seat

We'd rather show you fewer classes than pad the map with availability that evaporates at checkout. Every open seat in hoppir is one a studio has genuinely released to us.

Your credits are yours

Unused credits roll over for a month, and you can pay for one class without a membership at all. We'd rather earn the next booking than quietly collect on the last one.

Cape Town first, properly

Not a global product with a Cape Town setting. We started with a short list of studios we've actually been to, and we'd rather be excellent here than thin everywhere.

One more thing we’re deliberate about: hoppir is only ever for real classes in real rooms. We don’t sell on-demand video or streamed sessions, and we don’t plan to. It keeps the product honest and the pricing simple. See how it works.

hoppır

The whole city’s your gym.

Leave your email and we’ll tell you the day hoppir opens in Cape Town. One membership whose unused credits roll over for a month, or no membership at all, and just pay for the one class.
